August Rush Pinkie Blush

Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe joined and sponsored an outdoor photoshoot event by Mimz Closet and Fancymomsgroup--- August Rush Pinkie Blush Photoshoot.  This event was held at University of Los Banos, Laguna and Ninoy Aquino Wildlife Park, Quezon City last August 2015.  The theme of this event is all about pink.  My handcraft hairbows were paired with casual dresses by Anik Anik Atbp by Juvy.

My daughter and her cousin playing together during the photoshoot.

My daughter also joined the photoshoot along with her modelling buddy, her little cousin.  They both had fun (and a few tantrums probably because of the heat that time).  My daughter was more comfortable in posing for the camera this time.  I also observed that she has found signature smile for the photos.

You view the complete pinkie handcraft hairbows I made for the August Rush Pinkie Blush Photoshoot Event in my Facebook Page Album, August Rush Pinkie Blush Photoshoot. All items in the album are for sale (made to order) and are subject to availability. For inquiries, you may PM me in my Facebook Page, Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe.  Beware, you'll going to see pink overload!!!!! :)

July Blast Fashion Show

The July Blast Fashion Show, organized by the Fancymomsgroup, was the first fashion show event that the Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe sponsored and joined.  It was held at Starmall, Alabang, Muntinlupa City, Philippines on July 4, 2015. The models assigned to me showcased my handmade Double Pinwheel hairbows on headband with their school girl outfits and casual dresses.  My daughter joined the model line up.  It was her fashion show debut!  I was very excited for her.  I really wanted her to join events like this to improve her self-confidence.  Good to know that she enjoyed the activity and that she wanted to join again.

My daughter's first time to ramp on stage!

My niece also joined the fashion show event.  The cousins were very playful during the photoshoot! Walang makakapigil sa kanila! (Nobody could stop them!).

The Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe was given a Certificate of Participation for being an Event Sponsor during the July Blast Fashion Show.  Of course, as the owner and crafter, I was the one who went up the stage to accept it.

Thank you, Fancymoms, for letting me be a part of the event! :)

The hairbow collection exhibited in the fashion show event can be seen in the July Blast 2015-Cute Delights Models album of my FB page.  Feel free to browse the photo album to view photos. Click here to direct you to the photo album.  All the hairbows in it are for sale, made to order, and subject to availability.  Perfect gifts to make your darling girls extra special wherever they go! For inquiries and orders, kindly visit my FB page, Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe and PM me (Vhan).

Until the next event! :)

The After Summer Collection 2015

It's the school season again! It's the perfect time to introduce head accessories that the kids may use during their school days. Let your school girls stand out in their class by wearing cute handcraft hairbows from the After Summer Collection of Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe

To view the hairbows under the After Summer Collection, kindly click this link to direct you to my photo albums in my FB craft page: The After Summer Collection. It includes mostly of Double Pinwheel hairbows, though I can also customize other types of bows such as Single Bows and Butterfly Bows with the same theme as with the designs in the collection.

I included in this collection the some designs which a bigger kid or a teenager can wear (and even grown ups!) such as the Black Colorful Polka, Quarterfoil on Black, and Paris Black, as well as some of the colorful ones. I am widening the age range of my clients who can wear my products. Little girls would look great on these hair accessories. Even older kids, ladies and grown ups can also enjoy wearing them too!

Which of the items in the collection would you like to wear? I love all of them, but if I were to wear something for a special occasion or for just an ordinary day, I would like to wear the Paris Black. It shows a mix of simplicity and elegance. Perfect for a simple mom like me!

The Summer Collection 2015

I know it's quite late to blog anything about summer because the rainy season is now starting.  But then, I still would want to share with you my Summer Collection of handmade hairbows.  The hairbows included in this collection can also be worn beyond summer season and are still available to purchase (unless stated otherwise in our FB page, Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe).

To view the hairbows under the Summer Collection 2015, kindly click this link to direct you to my photo albums in my FB craft page: The Summer Collection.  It includes mostly of Double Pinwheel hairbows, though I can also customize other types of bows such as Single Bows and Butterfly Bows with the same theme as with the designs in the collection.

The Summer Collection 2015 of Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe

Which among these is your favorite Summer Collection design? Mine is the Shabby Pink Double Pinwheel (DP - Shabby Pink).  This design is actually an improvement of the original design I made for my baby daughter.  But when my hubby's officemates saw it, they requested for the same design. When I posted it on my FB craft page, my resellers also requested for it, and thus became a best seller. See below for the photo of the old and new designs:

New design of DP - Shabby Pink

I changed its design to make it more classy.  Though I altered the design, the new one still made it to my best sellers list.  I am still inlove with it even until now.  Very shabby chic.

Watch out for the After Summer Collection post next time!

Cute Delights Official Models and Inspiration

I am a mother of two beautiful daughters.  They are my inspiration and motivation in this craft business.  At first, I thought, I just wanted to make hairbows for them, so that they would feel more special.  Handmade crafts make someone more special.  But eventually, I thought of selling my craft outputs.  Other kids may also feel extra precious when they wear my handcraft hairbows.

My first-born daughter is the shy type.  I am always having hard time taking a photo of her with my hairbows.  However, she was in the mood during a product photoshoot, that's why I was able to upload a good picture of her.

My last-born daughter is the active type.  She always looks at the camera whenever someone takes a picture of her (but not smiling, since she is still a baby and not yet aware of smiling for the camera). She loves it whenever I put a hairbow on her hair.

Aside from my two little ladies, I also have another model who actually acts as my main "mannequin" when both of my girls are not in a good mood for a product photoshoot. Meet the Brown Bear, a gift for my first-born from her grandparent.  She looks perfect with my handcraft hairbows! Look!

Brown Bear will be busy later for more product photoshoot.  Until next blog!

Something Cute. Something Delightful.

If I had to enter the world of entrepreneurship, I should be passionate about the business I plan to create.  Sounds easy, but the hard part is to ask myself of my passions.  What am I passionate about? What do I want to do that would make me fulfilled and happy?

Writing, serving the people--- those are some of my passions which I applied in the past years of my life, both in school and in my corporate life before.  I still like to do them now even when I decided to be a full time stay at home mom.  But what I needed was a passion that would complement my new lifestyle as a mother of two darling and beautiful girls.

Inspiration struck me.  I always wanted my daughters to feel they are special to me.  I cannot anymore buy them expensive toys or pretty dresses eversince I quit my job.  But what I can do now is to give them emotional support and bring them up to be confident and happy in life.  One of the life's tricks I learned in my 33 years of living in this modern world, a person's appearance brings positivity in his or her life.  So if a person looks and feels beautiful, it radiates confidence and it attracts joy. (Some may not agree with me, but it's okay.  This is my life lesson, anyway).  Though I know my kids are beautiful just the way they are, without make up and glitz, I wanted to make them something to accentuate their beauty and put positivity in their lives.

I wanted to create something for them to show my extra-mile love for them.

A flashback of my youth suddenly appeared into my mind.  My youth when I created things--- anything---for myself.  I did not have many toys back then, even accessories, so I have to be resourceful.  I created my own toys and accessories.  No one would remember that except me, because I was not popular back then.  I created crafts at home just for my own pleasure.

Now that I have kids--- daughters at home, I can now pursue that passion.  And by making it a profitable business, it means I could also put positivity in the lives of other kids.  My handcrafts would make them feel extra special, extra loved, and extra beautiful.  My handcrafts would radiate joy in their lives.

So I decided to start this small business of handcrafting something cute and something delightful.  Something that would highlight every girl's beauty.  Something that would make them glee.  That would make me fulfilled and happy.

My online shop, Cute Delights Crafts and Shoppe was born on the day I found my crafting passion once more.
